Run for us

Each year, our supporters weave through the vibrant streets of Brighton, their strides not only clocking in the miles, but also making a difference. As we welcome in 2024, we’re on the lookout for new runners to join us in conquering the Brighton Marathon or BM10k this April 7th. Joining our team makes this iconic challenge more than just a run; it becomes a chance to be part of a community that moves with heart.

In 2023, for example, Dan laced up his shoes and hit the road for Team Domenica. His motivation being a desire to get fit, represent brother – who has autism – and make a difference in his local community.

On the day of his challenge, Dan was bolstered by the encouragement of his friends, family and the Team Domenica staff. With our combined support, and his determination, Dan successfully powered through the race and completed the Brighton Marathon, raising hundreds of pounds for charity. In the adjacent video, Dan’s message is clear: running for Team Domenica is a rewarding and transformative experience that he would recommend to anyone…

Make an impact

As we set our New Year’s resolutions, the Brighton Marathon Weekend beckons once again. Team Domenica are calling for supporters to follow in Dan’s footsteps and join their amazing team of runners.

Running for Team Domenica means bettering yourself, whilst also making a lasting impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities. Every pound raised will directly contribute to our Wrap Around Programme, ensuring ongoing support for candidates like Sam. Learn more about Sam’s journey by following this link.

I really appreciate having wrap-around support. It feels nice that Team Domenica doesn’t just let us go [after we get paid work]. I like having Ruth [our Post-Internship Manager] check in to see how I’m doing, and that I can go into the café to see her whenever I need to. I’m confident at work, but I feel more comfortable knowing there’s someone to help if I have a problem.
