Team Domenica is a Specialist Further Education College providing tailored employment programmes supporting young people with learning disabilities and autism to transition from education into the world of work. We also run limited adult social care sessions called Day Opportunities.

Team Domenica's Education Programmes

These programmes are part of our provision as a Specialist Further Education College. Every candidate’s journey is unique; here we describe a typical journey through our education programmes.

Year 1 - Supported Employment Programme

Our young people begin by building the foundations for work through community-led enrichment activities, practical training in our pub/cafés, three external work placements, and classes in employability, numeracy, literacy and RSHE.

Year 2 - Supported Internship Programme

In their second year, build on their learning through a longer supported internship with one of our partnered employers. They also continue to work towards their accredited qualifications in the classroom.

Year 3 & Beyond - Wrap Around Programme

When a candidate graduates, and moves into paid work, we offer ongoing, flexible and tailored support to both the candidate and their employer. For those yet to secure employment, we help identify alternative opportunities.

Our education programmes are open to any young person with learning disabilities or autism who are aged 19-24, hold an EHCP, and want to gain employment
