Team Domenica Graduation and Employer Celebration 2025
On Wednesday 9 July, we gathered on the stunning grounds of Brighton College for a special, Team Domenica celebration. One that marked the graduation of our latest group of candidates and recognised the amazing employers who make our work possible.
The class of 2025
The event kicked off with our graduation, bringing together staff, candidates, employers, friends and families to celebrate everything our young people have achieved. After a heartfelt talk from our Co-CEO, Lisa Campbell-Squires, each graduate was presented with a certificate recognising the completion of our employability programmes.
Together, we reflected on some of the friendships formed, skills learned, coffees made, qualifications earnt and – most importantly – fun had! For many candidates, our programmes have already led to paid roles; a testament to their hard work and determination.
“It made me feel really happy to get my job at the Maldron [Hotel]. Thank you to Team Domenica for helping me through my two years at TD. They helped me get the job. Thank you Maldron for employing me. I am going to get paid!”

Importantly, the event does not mark the end of a candidate’s time with Team Domenica. Our graduates will now move onto the Wrap Around Programme. A provision that ensures ongoing support both inside and out of the workplace – ensuring that no candidate feels alone or without direction.
This support was emphasised by candidates Ronnie and Asa, who gave thoughtful presentations about their journeys after attaining employment. They showed how our ongoing support helped them settle into work, keep connected and continue to thrive.
Championing inclusion
We also took this opportunity to thank and celebrate our brilliant community of employer partners. These businesses are leading the way in creating inclusive workplaces that reflect the communities they serve. Their commitment is not only life-changing for our young people, but also enriching for their teams, customers and wider community.
After the ceremony, the candidate and employer celebration continued in Scott’s Café, where guests enjoyed a relaxed reception sponsored by Chartwells Independent and Foodbuy Group. This was a chance for everyone to reflect, connect and celebrate together.
