The Team Domenica model

We design personalised, skills-based programmes that put each candidate’s unique needs and ambitions first. We seamlessly reinforce skills in different contexts, ensuring that all learning builds towards lasting employment, greater independence and personal fulfilment.

Recognising that every candidate is an independent adult, we provide opportunities for them to make their own choices, shape our provision, and form meaningful connections in their communities.

We provide personal mentoring to support wellbeing and individual growth. By working closely with employers, and prioritising sustainable employment, we ensure our young people receive the necessary training and support to thrive in paid work, and beyond.

A pioneering curriculum

Classroom learning

In the classroom, candidates work towards their Functional Skills qualifications. In this bespoke setting, they build confidence and independence, developing the skills from other areas of our provision.

Enrichment

Enrichment utilises team-based activities to build resilience and interpersonal skills. It also fosters opportunities for friendships, and encourages candidates to actively engage with their community.

Our flagship café-pub brings classroom learning to life, helping our young people build on their skills in a professional and varied environment. It is also a space for them to break stereotypes and showcase their abilities to the wider public.
