Watches of Switzerland and Team Domenica: Opening Doors Together

At Team Domenica, we know that meaningful partnerships can create lasting change. Since May 2025, our partnership with Watches of Switzerland Group has been doing exactly that.
What began through an introduction from WiHTL has grown into a relationship built on shared values, generosity and a belief in the potential of young people with learning disabilities and autism.
Over the past year, Watches of Switzerland Group and its colleagues have supported Team Domenica in a number of ways, helping us create opportunities, open doors and invest in the future of our candidates.

Investing in our future
One of the most significant contributions has been a donation of more than £50,000 towards the renovation of our new education centre at Pavilion Buildings in the heart of Brighton.
This transformational support has helped us create a space where more young people with learning disabilities and autism can develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to thrive in work and life.
As we continue to expand our impact, investments like this help ensure that even more young people can access the opportunities they deserve.
Sharing our coffee and our story
Partnerships are about more than funding. They are about connection.
Since the partnership began, Watches of Switzerland Group has proudly served Team Domenica’s candidate-roasted coffee across its business, introducing our story to colleagues and customers alike.
Our coffee was served to around 300 colleagues at the company’s Carlton Park headquarters during a Town Hall event, where the partnership was announced and Team Domenica’s work was showcased.
The coffee also found a home in the Watches of Switzerland and TAG Heuer showrooms in Brighton, where it proved so popular that additional orders quickly followed.
Every bag of coffee purchased supports our work while helping spread awareness of the talents and potential of young people with learning disabilities and autism.

Learning from each other
One of the highlights of the partnership came when colleagues from the Brighton Watches of Switzerland and TAG Heuer teams visited one of our cafés for a coffee masterclass.
Led by Team Domenica candidate Sean, the session gave colleagues the opportunity to learn how to brew the perfect coffee for their showroom clients while experiencing first-hand the skills, professionalism and confidence that our candidates bring to the workplace every day.
Moments like these help challenge perceptions, build understanding and demonstrate the value that people with learning disabilities and autism can bring to businesses and communities.

Celebrating inclusion
In November 2025, Watches of Switzerland Group colleagues marked Purple Tuesday, a national campaign that highlights the barriers disabled people face while celebrating the organisations working to remove them.
As part of the campaign, colleagues were encouraged to donate to Team Domenica, helping raise awareness and support for our mission.
That same month, colleagues also joined us to celebrate the launch of The North Star, our Brighton pub and social enterprise. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to see first-hand the impact of the projects they have helped make possible and to meet some of the young people whose lives are being transformed through employment opportunities.
Recognising the partnership
We were incredibly proud to be featured in Watches of Switzerland Group’s Annual Report, highlighting the partnership and the difference it is making.
We are deeply grateful for our partnership with Watches of Switzerland. This partnership is about more than generosity. It’s about belief. Belief in the talents, the potential and the value of every young person with a learning disability. With their support, we can open more doors, create more opportunities and help our young people find their rightful place in the world.
Baroness Monckton, Founder and Chair of Team Domenica

Looking ahead
The partnership continues to go from strength to strength.
In May 2026, following a successful first year of working together, the Watches of Switzerland Foundation awarded Team Domenica a further £25,000 grant to support our work.
This renewed commitment is a powerful vote of confidence in our mission and the young people we support.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Watches of Switzerland Group and the Watches of Switzerland Foundation for their ongoing support. Together, we are helping create a future where more young people with learning disabilities and autism can find meaningful employment, build independence and thrive.
Because when organisations open their minds, they open doors.
