We are opening a new premium pub offering fresh, innovative food and exceptional drinks in a warm, welcoming setting. Our menu and bar selection are built on quality ingredients, local suppliers, and creativity We pride ourselves on delivering memorable experiences for our guests in an inclusive and supportive environment. 
 
In partnership with our parent charity, Team Domenica, we also serve as a weekday training ground for young people with learning disabilities. Through this collaboration, we help individuals gain valuable skills, confidence, and real-world hospitality experience, supporting them on their journey toward employment and independence. 

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie who will bring expertise, creativity, and discipline to our kitchen.  You’ll be responsible for leading a section of the kitchen on service, ensuring consistently high-quality food, supporting junior team members, maintaining standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead a section of the kitchen (e.g. meat, fish, vegetables, or pastry), ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of dishes 
  • Assist in the planning and development of daily specials and new seasonal menu items 
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures Support, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff and trainees 
  • Manage stock levels, control wastage, and monitor food costs 
  • Work efficiently under pressure during busy service times 
  • Ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organised at all times 
  • This list should not be regarded as exclusive or exhausted as the post holder may be required to undertake other reasonably determined duties and responsibilities in line with their role

Requirements

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a premium food environment (pub, restaurant, or similar 
  • Strong understanding of food safety & hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP) 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment 
  • Excellent knife skills and understanding of ingredient quality and seasonality 

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
