Café Domenica

At Café Domenica, we dish up a fantastic atmosphere, delicious drinks and fresh food that tastes divine. Showcasing our candidates’ talents and challenging society’s misconceptions about learning disabilities – something we feel very proud of.

Our candidates are centrally involved in the running of our training cafés. These in-house work placements provide the perfect opportunity for candidates to learn new skills in a real work environment.

Based at our main training centre near Preston circus, this is the original café with a conscience. Expect delicious breakfasts, lunches and baked treats all accompanied by our irresistible coffee which comes direct from our very own roastery in Kemp Town.

Situated on the ground floor of Plus X Innovation hub on the Lewes Road, this café is open to all and provides fresh, healthy homemade food and our great coffee. This vibrant co-working space provides the perfect environment for our candidates to build their workplace and social skills.

Situated in the heart of Brighton, this café is a great spot to relax with a coffee and cake, or grab one to go. At Jubilee Library, our candidates are able to connect with people across the local community, demonstrating the benefits that young people with learning disabilities bring to society and the workplace.

Coffee Roastery

Our roastery is the only place in the UK that produces coffee crafted by young people with learning disabilities. From bean to bag, our candidates are involved every step of the way, allowing them to learn new skills, gain independence and work towards their own goals.

In addition to serving spectacular food in our cafes, we also provide external catering. This creates vital training opportunities for our young people – be that in the production room, or at the events themselves.
