Yes! The North Star is dog friendly. We welcome dogs both in our main lounge and outside terrace area. Dogs are welcome on leads and there are often dog bowls available.
Yes! The North Star is family-friendly. We welcome children and families throughout our service, as long as there is adult supervision. We also offer a children’s menu for smaller portions.
Located next to the Royal Pavilion, The North Star is is just a short walk from the Brighton Dome and Theatre Royal Brighton. We are the ideal spot to enjoy a crisp beer, curated wine or signature cocktail before a play or gig. Looking to eat before a show? Look no further than The North Star, using fresh and seasonal ingredients, our menus are perfect for pre-show dining in Brighton.
The North Star has a dedicated room for functions, events are larger private bookings. It features a speaker, super fast Wi-Fi and a projector.

Here at The North Star, all our food is freshly prepared in-house, and we’ll always do our best to cater to dietary requirements such as non-gluten or nut-free. Yes! There is step-free access into the front of our building, but there is a slight incline. Inside The North Star, there are steps towards our second seating area and toilets, but we have a wheelchair accessible lift for this.
